Well, as many of you may have noticed, we’ve bid Matt a fond farewell. All good things must eventually come to an end they say. But some great things will live on forever, in our hearts and the memories made. Thanks for all the great shows Brother. Best of luck in the future!
It probably leaves some of you asking “what now?” Is this the end? Do I have to find a new favourite band? Thankfully the answer to all of those questions is NO!
Here’s what’s happening. Upon Matt’s departure, we put our heads together, did some soul searching, some navel gazing, kicked rocks, and made a few decisions and a few calls. Those decisions and calls have resulted in us welcoming two new faces to the band. Well, they’re more old and grizzled, but they’re new to us! Who are these new faces you ask?
Brad Lowrie will be filling Matt’s very large shoes (figuratively) as our new lead guitar player. Brad has a long and distinguished history in the music business and is currently a guitar player in “Monkey’s Uncle”, a rock cover band. Brad’s style will bring a somewhat different sound to ANR, but we love it and we’re sure you will too.
Chris Leslie represents our first crack at being a 5 piece band, and ladies and gentlemen, we’re proud as peacocks to say that we now have a fiddle in the band! Texas, here we come!
Both Brad and Chris are no strangers to ANR as they’ve both been doing sound for us for years, so we took this opportunity to get them on the stage with us.
Check out our Upcoming Shows to see when we will be playing in your area to hear our new sound! We hope to see you soon!
Cheers!

Time to blow the dust off the ol' website
Welcome to 2018 everyone! We here at ANR are particularly excited for this one, which will see us celebrate the end of our tenth year. 8 more years and this band will be old enough to drink! Well, legally anyway... Stay tuned for important and breaking news as well as somewhat more frequent posts. And in the words of the infamous Darcy Hjelsvold, "New year, new band, same old weird!"
2017 Baby!
Okay, you see that last update where we said it would be a busy winter? Well turns out we meant busy drinking beer and taking some well deserved time off.
But we're back with some new shows, new energy and looking forward to ripping it up all over Alberta again this year. There are openings still if you are interested in entertainment for your event, see the Booking page for more details.

Fall is here
Don't you love Alberta fall? Hope everyone is doing well with their harvest, we know it's a busy time of year.
For us, we just finished another great rodeo and event season...such cool shows this year, it definitely was one to remember. And there's lots in the works for winter and the new year, so stay tuned!
